Cast your mind back to October – do you remember when we told you about our new young employee Huw Bevan who had just started?
Huw was taken on to expand the Halls Commercial portfolio across Kidderminster and the wider Worcestershire area.
And six months on – he’s doing just that.
Huw has been doing very well since he started at Halls, winning instruction after instruction.
He has been out and about meeting people and making connections.
You may have noticed a lot more of the blue Halls ‘for sale’ and ‘to let’ boards going up on commercial properties across Worcestershire, this is down to Huw and his hard work.
Huw has recently sold a large former foster home in Stanley Road, Worcester.
He’s also won the instruction on a £2.5million shared house portfolio in the town – it comprises of 48 bedrooms across three houses and is one of the largest instructions that Halls Commercial has ever undertaken.
In Kidderminster, Huw believes there to be many redevelopment projects on the horizon as the Boucher Textlies Building and 95 and 95a New Road go under offer.
The properties in New Road are set to become up to six new flats above a chip shop and a dessert shop, bringing a range of new contemporary housing to the area.
Huw also believes the former Boucher Textiles building in Green Street, will soon be a hive of activity, with more than 9,000sq ft is available with on site parking and open plan accommodation set over three floors.
These are just a few of the instructions that Huw is undertaking right now – we are very pleased with the start he has made and the asset he is to our team.
Huw said: “I have seen a real change in the county since I started working here in October – in just six months the commercial property market has picked up a lot of pace.
“I am hearing from landlords who say now is the time to bring properties to the market and there is plenty of interest from purchasers too – it is a very healthy market right now, especially compared to six months ago.”
