Halls Fine Art conduct a series of auctions throughout the year our auction events include: Specialist Fine Antique and Works of Art & Clock Auctions; Pictures Silver & Jewellery Auctions; Militaria Auctions; Toy Auctions; Collectable Ceramics Auctions; Interiors Auctions and Single Owner Estate Auctions.

For each auction Halls offer an online inventory of your items for prospective bidders to view and are proud to display lots for viewing in our purpose built auction rooms at Halls Holdings House that provide a pleasing and relaxed environment.

Our salesrooms boast excellent links to the motorway network, disabled access, ample car parking and comfortable surroundings including onsite high calibre cafe facilities with free WiFi.

The fine series of auctions carry a late night reception evening viewing for bidders convenience, an illustrated catalogue, lots are offered to the international marketplace via an online live bidding platform and actively marketed using various web platforms, social media and advertising in a range of well known publications.  To follow our daily activities sign up to our Facebook or Twitter blogs and join in the conversation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Halls Fine Art Collect?
Halls Fine Art will be pleased to accept delivery of the items you wish to auction between 9am and 5pm any Monday or Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).  Please be advised that Halls Fine Art have no facility to transport.  We do recommend a local firm called Parsons Transport who may be reached on 01743 872068 and may be engaged privately and separately.

How much will Halls Fine Art charge to sell my item?
We charge a percentage of the hammer price achieved, our various tiers of auctions Fine, Collective, Interiors,carry their own different commission rate and minimum/advertising charges.  The rate of commission applicable will be determined at the point of auction estimate, our tariff cards for each auction are available at our reception or can be downloaded in pdf format.

How can I get an auction estimate?
Should you require an auction estimate before proceeding.  Do bring your item along and meet one of our expert team of specialists at one of our regular Free Valuation Events, see Upcoming Events for details, or attend a Halls Fine Art Valuation Morning, these are held every Monday Morning (except bank holiday) 10am-1pm at Halls Holdings House, Bowmen Way, Battlefield, Shrewsbury, SY4 3DR

How can I get an auction estimate at home?
